The freshness of books
When I was young, books were the best way to know something. I used to judge the values of books by their contents, subsequently I determined them by who wrote them. Recently I judge the values of books by when they were written, because I came to know the importance of the freshness of information. When I want to know what happen today, the word written yesterday is not useful. I felt it when the huge earthquake occurred. The magnitudes of yesterday’s foreshocks were not important. Therefore, even a newspaper is not latest. That’s why, the frequency I read books decreased. Someday books may disappear. Internet is the predator of books.
