English, the common language of science
English is the common language of science.
A paper written in English is more valuable than that in Japanese. Someone says
that it is unfair. But I think this is a rule. Although science is built on
equalities, we need a common language. English is suitable for it because many
kinds of people can speak English. English may be easier than Japanese and
Chinese. We, Japanese, are not good at English. However, if we want to show
something truly, it is not so difficult to do it. The enthusiasm to want to
explain something is most important, in which case, languages are not so
important.
