Sergio Martinez had a hard fight with Matthew Macklin. Although Martinez seemed to control the game, Macklin got many points. In addition Martinez had unfortunate knock-down at 7th round. Both fighters had good skill to beat counter attacks. Martinez sometimes performed a no-guard style. You may think that the no-guard style is danger. However, this style is actually useful to beat counter attacks. In the middle phase of this match, Macklin could adapt to the Martinez’s no-guard style. But finally, Macklin could not deal with the technique and speed of Martinez. Although Macklin had the possibility to win in the case of judgment end, he was defeated by Martinez’s counter attack by his left hand at the end of 11th round.
