Scientists should express themselves by
themselves. In case of the contents of their scientific study, it is not so
difficult. In contrast, we are in trouble when we should praise ourselves about
our skills and humanity. Do you believe the one who says I have originality, or
I am gentle? But we should say such arguments. People say that Japanese are not good at
praising themselves. We always had better be modest in Japan. Being silent
seems like good in Japan. I also am a Japanese, and then it is difficult for me
to praise myself. Now I should make examiners believe that I have a good skill
of experiments, for getting a research fund.
