With waiting for a good idea

Recently I never perform an experiment because I have nothing to do. In fact, I'm just waiting for an idea. When we want some novel ideas, we usually read papers. A novel idea is not often in papers, whereas too novel idea, which is not even in one paper, is difficult to put into practice. A good strategy to achieve an academic problem is to keep balance between the novelty and the appropriateness of the method to show the thesis.
