To ask questions in every scientific
seminar is very useful for getting acquainted with other scientists. The person
who actively asks questions seems to look smart. Accordingly, scientists
usually want to keep touch with the person.
I used to ask many questions in every seminar
in Japan, which let many professors learn my face. Even in America, I could get
acquainted with a professor who had answered my question in a seminar before.
To ask questions in seminars is a very useful method to get a necessary skill
for scientists.
