Experiments lead to a discovery

Good ideas are rarely produced from desk works. Many biological discoveries were appeared from experiments, touching directly with biological phenomenon. When we start an experiment based on a theory, the nature shows us unexpected results, by which, many novel findings are discovered. We should perform many experiments. Only thinking with reading papers on our desks will rarely arrive at a novel discovery. However, reading some papers on the desk for making good ideas gives us much knowledge about our interests, which will also contribute to make good ideas.
