A memory in Japan: cold!

I felt cold in Japan, although the temperature was warmer than that of Cleveland. Of course, the coldness of outside of building in Cleveland was severer than that in Japan. However, the room in Japan was throughout cold, which used to make me hope to be back to Cleveland soon. The coldness of houses in Japan may be due to the structure of doors. We have doors that consists of paper which is called "Shoji" in Japan. People believe that this door is sufficient to keep a room warm even in winter, whereas I noticed that the rooms in my home, whose doors are usually Shoji, were too cold to live after coming from USA. Though I have stayed in my apartment in Cleveland with short shirt even in January, I had been shivering from the severe coldness in Japan.
