Monoclonal antibodies generated from a single cell sorting method of memory B cells from early pandemic COVID-19 patients showed neutralizing activity against B.1.1.7 and mink cluster 5 variants, but reduced efficiency against B.1.1351 and P.1 variants were observed. However, antibodies with a high affinity for the receptor-binding domain showed effective neutralization against these resistant variants.
