Absence of stamps

I forgot to seal stamps in my envelopes including checks for light and gas fees. If in Japan, they will come back to my address. However, in case of USA, it depends on the mailman. If he doesn't care the absence of stamps, he will send my letters into the correct address. The only thing I can do is to wait for something happening next.
