Many chemical compounds show high cytotoxicity at more than 100uM in culture cells
We usually treat chemical compounds such as virus growth inhibitors to culture cells in biochemical experiments. In that case, the most considerable factor is the concentration of these chemicals. Before obtaining some results from such experiments, we should dilute the chemicals into a different concentration, and check the cytotoxicity as well as the target effect. We should determine the best concentration of a target chemical that shows the lowest cytotoxicity and the highest target effect. It should be noted that a compound that exhibits a low effect even at 100uM concentration should not be used for such experiment, because almost all compounds show significant cytotoxicity at more than 100uM.
