Detection of SARS-CoV-2-specific humoral and cellular immunity in COVID-19 convalescent individuals

Humoral and cellular immunity against SARS-CoV-2 was examined using samples of nineteen COVID-19 patients in China who have recently discharged. Both neutral antibodies and T cell responses reacting to SARS-CoV-2 antigens have been identified at least 2 weeks after discharge. Further follow-up study will be needed to understand how long the immunity is maintained.
