SARS-CoV-2 can be transmitted from human to mink, which was observed in Europe and US. A point mutation Y453F in SARS-CoV-2 spike protein was found from mink. This mutation is involved in the reduction of neutralizing efficiency of therapeutic antibody and sera from COVID-19 patients against SARS-CoV-2 infection.
