DNA vaccine protection against SARS-CoV-2 in rhesus macaques

The efficiency of DNA vaccine encoding SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein was determined by using rhesus macaques. Although a series of Spike protein deletion mutants was prepared, only the full-length Spike protein was completely effective as the candidate for the encoded substrate as the protective vaccine.
