Most neutralizing antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 S protein target the receptor-binding domain (RBD), whereas some variants targeting N-terminal domain (NTD) were also reported. Structural analysis for the complex of 7 NTD-targetting antibodies and S protein revealed that these antibodies recognize single supersite that is glycan free, electropositive with mobile β-hairpin and flexible loops. This is a remarkable contrast that RBD-targetting antibodies recognize non-overlapping epitopes.
